SPADE DIES AT AGE OF 69 Charles Sherman Spade, 69, of McAlisterville R. D., died Saturday at 10:15 p.m. in Lewistown hospital, only 40 minutes after being admitted. Death was due to a ruptured blood vessel in the brain. He had been ill for many months. Mr. Spade was born October 24, 1885 in Perry county. His wife, Catherine Sweigart, preceded him in death about 14 years ago. Surviving are six sons, Arol and Raymond Spade, of Richfield; John, Charles, Kenneth and James Spade, at home; and three daughters. Mrs. John Reynolds, Mrs. Rohland Weimer and Miss Ida Spade, all of McAlisterville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Garman's funeral home, Mt. Pleasant Mills. Rev. Roy L. Heimbach, Port Treverton R.D., will officiate. Interment will be in Barner's Church cemetery, Liverpool R.D. Viewing will be held Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
