Sgt. Kenneth Eugene Zellers, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Zellers of Liverpool has been officially declared dead, the War Department has notified his parents. The plane carrying 19 men, including M. Sgt. Zellers, was en-route from Lagens Field, Azores to Gander, Newfoundland when the crash occurred. Sgt. Zellers was born in Liverpool township, Dec. 17, 1922. He enlisted and entered service March 19, 1941 and had served overseas 18 months with the Eighth Air Force. Surviving are his parents and a sister, Mrs. Mary M. Napier of Rockford, Ill.
