Raftsman's journal. (Clearfield, Pa.): September 26, 1855
Col. A. K. Cornyn, we regret to learn, died in Bloomfield, Perry county, on the 4th
inst., after a lingering illness. His health for some time past had been seriously
impaired, though he cherished the hope that by abandoning his profession and
enjoying proper exercise and recreation he might regain it, but in this he was
disappointed. He was a man of fine abilities.
