Harman, propietor of the Mansion House, New Bloomfield, died Saturday at 5pm after a protracted illness of a complication of diseases, aged 66 years, having been born Sept. 8, 1851. He was widely known as a hotel keeper, having also conducted hotels in this place and Liverpool. He had been in the mercantile business at Eshcol and Thompsontown. His wife and a daughter, Mrs. D. Boyd Alter of New Bloomfield survive him. He leaves one brother, E. L. Harman of Philadelphia and three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Acker of Montgomery's Ferry, Mrs. Anna Deckard of Buck's Valley, and Mrs. Martin Lyons of this place. Funeral servies will be held at his late home today at 1pm. Interment will be in Bloomfield Cemetery. He will be given Masonic burial, having been a member of Newport Lodge No. 381 Free and Accepted Masons, who will attend the funeral in a body.
