  Blain News Briefs; Clyde C. Kern Funeral
  
    BLAIN, July 30. - The funeral of Clyde C. Kern, who died in 
  Harrisburg on Friday following an operation for appendicitis was held 
  Monday with burial in the Blain Union Cemetery, the funeral cortege 
  coming from Harrisburg by automobiles.  Services were conducted in the 
  Zion Reformed Church by the Rev. G. W. Hartman, of Harrisburg, assisted 
  by the Rev. E. V. Starbaugh, Reformed minister, and the Rev. J. C. 
  Reighard, Lutheran minister.
