M. Merle Light

  LIVERPOOL – M. Merle Light, 87, formerly of Liverpool RR 1, died Saturday at 
the home of her daughter, Pauline Lane Wright, in Granger, Ind.
  She had served as mother to 67 foster children since 1959; was a member of 
Salem United Methodist Church, Liverpool RR 1, and a charter member and past 
star recorder of Women of Moose Lodge No. 925.
  She was the widow of W. Stanley Light.  Surviving in addition to her daughter 
are a brother, Robert B. Murray of Liverpool; five grandchildren, and six great-
grandchildren.
  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in her church.  Burial will be in St. 
John's (Barner's) Cemetery, Liverpool RR 1.
  Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool.
  Memorial contributions may be made to her church, RR 1, Liverpool 17045.
