Russell Long, 78, a resident at the Good Samaritan Convalescent Home, died Tuesday at the home. He was a veteran of World War I; a member of the United Methodist Faith; Wesley DeHaven American Legion Post 364; and the Liverpool Fire Co. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Bertha Reichenbach of Mount Pleasant Mills RD 2. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home at 606 N. Front St. Rev. Ronald J. Beistline, pastor of the Liverpool United Methodist Charge, will officiate. Burial will be in Barner's Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday after 7 p.m. Military services will be held by the Wesley DeHaven American Legion Post.
