MICHAELS Kenneth Daubert Michaels, 81, Port Trevorton, died Tuesday morning, June 5 while at work in the yard of his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He had been under the care of a physician for several years for a heart condition. Born Aug. 9, 1902, in Port Trevorton, he was the son of the late John William and Phoebe D. Daubert Michaels. In 1921, he was married to the former Anna K. Boyer. Early in life, Mr. Michaels worked at the Groce Silk Mill in Port Trevorton. Later he was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Selinsgrove, retiring in 1964. Mr. Michaels was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Port Trevorton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Evans of Hamilton, Mont.; two sons, Kenneth B. "Casey" of Mechanicsburg and Louis B. of Lemoyne; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one brother, Tim of Shamokin Dam. The funeral was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, by the Rev. Daniel L. Dennis. Burial was made in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD1.
