Mitchell, 77, of 104 N. Market St., a retired employee of Precisionware Inc., Thompsontown, died Tuesday afternoon in the Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, where he had been a patient since April 25. Born Dec. 19, 1905, in Millerstown RD2, he was the son of the late Harry P. and Susan Elizabeth Frymoyer Mitchell. In 1937, he was married to the former Helen Mae Barner. When he was a young man, he farmed in the area and later worked for the W. W. Boone Egg Co., Liverpool RD1. He was employed at Precisionware from 1955-1967, when he retired. Mr. Mitchell was a member of St. John's (Barner's) Lutheran Church, Liverpool RD1; Liverpool Fire Company; and the Liverpool Senior Citizens. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Lauver of York RD2; one son, Richard L. of Liverpool RD1; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Barner's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Theodore L. Cockley. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call in the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to the hour of the service. Funeral arrangements were made by the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool.
