Noye, 80, long a resident of Duncannon, was found dead in his bungalow on the Duncannon-Bloomfield highway, Wednesday night, January 6, 1943. According to John J. Wilt, Deputy Coroner, Mr. Noye had been dead twenty- four hours. He was the son of Isaac and Martha Perry Noye and was born in Carroll township. Surviving besides his wife, who was Miss Lizzie Briner, a sister of Samuel J. Briner, of Bloomfield, is one daughter, Mrs. Ada Collins, and one brother, Theodore Noye, all of Duncannon. He was a member of the Duncannon Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Nickel funeral home, with the Rev. Floyd Carroll officiating.
