Sheaffer, 67, of Liverpool RD 2, died Thursday in Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg. He was retired from employment with Liverpool borough. He was a member of Liverpool Methodist Church and Liverpool Fire Company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alma H. Sheaffer; four daughters, Mrs. Paul R. Murry of Liverpool RD 1, Mrs. David E. Hockeberry of Port Trevorton RD 1 and Mrs. David B. Lyter and Miss Mary E., both of Liverpool; two sons, William R. of Newport RD 1 and David E. of Liverpool; a sister, Mrs. Mary Doerstler of Lancaster; four brothers, A. Ray of Mount Pleasant Mills RD 2, Charles W. and John P., both of Liverpool, and Chester A. of Lancaster; and five grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home at 606 N. Front St. The Rev. Jack L. Rider will officiate. Burial will be in Barner's Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon until time of services.
