He was born Feb. 19, 1978, in Harrisburg, a son of Chester L. Sr. and Connie (Kline) Strawser of RR1 Liverpool. He was married to the former Kelly Newman. Curtis was a 1996 graduate of East Juniata High School, Cocolamus. He worked with his father at Strawser's Excavation, Liverpool, and was also engaged in farming with his father. He was a member of Dressler's Ridge United Methodist Church, RR2 Mount Pleasant Mills. He was a member of American Legion Post 364, Liverpool. Curtis loved his family and was enthusiastic about professional wrestling, NASCAR and hunting and fishing. Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, are two daughters, Jasmine and Natisha Strawser, both of RR1 Liverpool; one brother and his fiancé, Chester L. "Dink" Strawser Jr. and Chispa Ross, both of RR2 McAlisterville; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Alice and David Strawser of RR1, Liverpool; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Keith R., who died this past Feb. 28; his paternal grandparents, Benjamin F. Sr. and Charlotte Strawser; and his maternal grandfather, Henry H. Kline. Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the George P. Garman Funeral Home, 606 N. Front St., Liverpool. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by the Rev. Gerald R. Miller, assisted by the Rev. Lear E. Shambach. Burial will follow in St. John (Barner's) Cemetery, RR1 Liverpool. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial gifts to be directed in loving memory of Curtis to the Penn State Cancer Institute in care of Hershey Medical Center, P.O.
