MRS. MARY E. SWEIGART

  Mrs. Mary Ellen Sweigart, 64, Liverpool RD1, Juniata County, died at 2:20 a.m. 
Saturday, Aug. 11 in the Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, where she had 
been a surgical patient since July 17.
  Prior to being hospitalized, she had been a resident in the Nipple 
Convalescent Home, Liverpool, for several months.
  Born March 10, 1915, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Franklin 
W. and Alice Rebecka Ulich Hoffman.
  She lived in Harrisburg until her marriage in 1936 to Harvey E. Sweigart, Sr., 
who died in 1971.
  Mrs. Sweigart attended the Bible Baptist Church, Liverpool RD1.
  She is survived by six daughters, Miss Beatrice Sweigart of Liverpool, Mrs. 
Edward Klinger of Liverpool RD1, Mrs. Charles Matukaitis of Mount Carmel, Mrs. 
Charles Miller and Mrs. David Goodling, both of Millerstown RD2, and Mrs. Leroy 
Bordner of Mount Pleasant Mills RD2; six sons, Lester H. of Cleveland, Ohio, 
Harvey E. Jr., Charles H. and George W., all of Liverpool RD1, Frank R. of Port 
Trevorton RD1 and Robert L. of Richfield RD1; 29 grandchildren; one great-
grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Miller of Reading and Mrs. Pauline Frederick 
of Middleburg; and one brother, Robert L. Hoffman of Harrisburg.
  Two daughters, Betty and Jean Sweigart, died in infancy.
  The funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the George P. Garman Funeral 
Home, Liverpool, by the Rev. Robert T. Gray Jr.  Burial was in Barner's 
Cemetery, Liverpool RD1.
