TRESSLER At the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. W. Fleischer, of 522 Martin street, Bellwood, Mrs. Catharine E. Tressler died at 11.30 Saturday morning, of cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Tressler was a daughter of Jacob and Sarah Dumm, and was born at Elliotsburg, on January 24, 1844. She was a resident of Perry county for many years and held her church membership there. Since last fall she had been in Bellwood and friends there had learned to know her as a patient shut in, and esteem her for her Christian virtues. Surviving are these children: Mrs. Dora V. Toomey and Mrs. Minnie P. Clouser, of Newport; Mrs. Sarah Jane Owens, of Dunannon; S. M. Tressler, of Washington, N.J.; Mrs. Emma C. Fleischer, of Bellwood; J. C. Tressler, of New York. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive, also a brother, Dr. J. M. Dumm, of Mackeyville, and a sister, Mrs. O. L. Hench, of Blain. Funeral service will be held at the Fleischer home at Bellwood on Tuesday morning at 9.30. On the 11.20 train the body will be taken to the home of a daughter at Newport, where funeral service will be held and interment made. (Perry county papers please copy.)
