Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Perry County Personally appeared before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, Henry Bistline and David Gutshall who upon their solemn oaths, do depose and say, that they will well and truly and without predjudice or partiality, value and appraise the goods, chattels, and credits which were of said George W. Wentz, dec'd. Bond A. J. Wentz, Administrator to The Commonwealth on confirmation of private sale of real estate to Chas. E. Oxenford and Jacob Wentz. Filed 10 April 1899 Bond Book B, page 675. Know all Men by these Presents THAT we, Andrew J. Wentz, administrator of George W. Wentz deceased, Jacob Wentz and W. A. Johnson, all of Perry County, Pennsylvania, are held firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the sum of Four Thousand Dollars, lawful money of the United States of America, to be paid to the said Commonwealth, her certain Attorney or Assigns: to which patement well and truly to be made, we do bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, and every of them, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents. Sealed with our seals. Dated the tenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine. Whereas, Andrew J. Wentz, administrator of George W. Wentz, late of Jackson Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania, deceased, after a failure to sell real estate of said decedent by virtue of an order of the Orphans' Court of said County awarded him to sell said real estate for payment of debts of said decedent, ________ to said Court that he sold a part of said real estate privately to Emma I. Oxenford for the sum of $1500.00 and another part of same to Jacob Wentz for the sum of $500.00 and has petitioned the said Court praying it to approve, ratify, confirm and decree the said respective sales under the provisions of the acts of the General Assembly approved the 13th day of April, 1854, and the 9th day of May, 1889. Now, therefore, the condition of this obligation is ___, that if the above bounden Andrew J. Wentz, administrator as aforesaid, shall and do well and faithfully according to law and the decree of said Court, appropriate the proceeds arising from said sales, then this obligation to be void, other wise to be and remain in full force and virtue. 1.
