GEORGE METHODIST EPISCOPAL Between 1795 and 1833, the burial ground was located on Crown St. (now called Crease St.). A second burial ground was located on Christian St. and was sold in 1847. All bodies from these 2 church burial grounds were moved to St. George's United Methodist Episcopal Church and placed beneath a brick hallway inside the church, located at 4th Street above Race.
