Ashton et al for Guardian January 20, 1826 All the Judges Prest. JOSEPH ASHTON appointed Guardian. To the Honorable, the Judges of the Orphans Court for the city and county of Philadelphia The Petition of JOHN S. ASHTON, ISAAC ASHTON, and HANNAH ASHTON, Minors above the age of fourteen years: Respectfully Sheweth, That they have no person to take care of their persons and Estate. They therefore pray your Honors to permit them to make choice of some person as guardian for that purpose. [Signatures] John s. Ashton, Isaac Ashton, Hannah Ashton Joseph K. Ashton been duly sworn says that the amount of personal property that will come to the possession of any Guardian appointed for the above named children will be about fifty four Dollars. [Signature] Joseph K Ashton Sworn before me Jan. 20, 1826 [signature illegible] Additional Comments: Children of the late William Ashton who died intestate on January 27 1817.
