Norton one of the Justices of the Peace, in and for the County of Philadelphia, personally appeared John Aitken, a Citizen of the of the United States, aged forty years, or thereabouts, of the height of Six feet & half inches has lightich hair, and light complexion, and hazel eyes who being duly sworn according to Law, did, on his solemn oath oath, depose and say, that he is a native of Baltimore in the State of Maryland and is a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. John Aitken And at the same time appeared William Black a Citizen of the United States, who being also duly sworn, did, on his solemn oath depose and say, that he is well acquainted with the above named John Aitken and that the facts above stated are just and true, according to the best of his knowledge and belief.
