Be it Known, That on the day of the date hereof, before me, Peter Lohra, of 
Philadelphia, Notary Public, by lawful authority duly commissioned and sworn, 
and by law authorized to administer Oaths and Affirmations, personally 
appeared   Philemon Freeman  aged  Thirty five  years or thereabouts, of the 
height of  five  feet,  10 ¼   inches,  fair  complexion,  Light Brown  
Hair  Hazle  eyes, has a scar _____  the nose & also a scar on the fore finger 
of the left hand  who being by me duly  swear  according to law, did declare 
and say, That he a Native of  North Carolina, Plymouth County  and is a 
Citizen of the United States of America.

And  William Hammond  being by me also duly  swear  did declare and say that 
the facts above stated are true to the best of his knowledge and belief.
