Personally appeared James Lawson aged about forty five years of the height of five feet 7 ½ Inches brown Hair, Hazle Eyes light complexion, having the thumb Nail of his right hand Split and being duly Sworn on his solemn Oath saith that he does verily belive from the accounts given him he is of the age aforesaid and that he was born at Fredericks Hall in Norway and came to the United States of America in the year 1775 and land in New York that he has always followed the Occupation of a Sailor. That he married in Albany in the State of New York and has three Children living there. His wife is dead.
