D. one thousand eight hundred and forty four Personally appeared before me, JOSEPH SIMON COHEN, Prothonotary of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, in and for the Eastern District, Peter Almond a native of England and a subject of the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, now residing in the city of Philadelphia, aged Thirty six years, or thereabouts, who being duly sworn according to law, declares and says, That it is bona fide his intention to become a Citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my Name, and affixed the Seal of said Supreme Court at Philadelphia, this Fifth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four J.
