All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ********************************************************* Philadelphia County Deed Book, AWM, Book 14, Page 581 Know all men by these Presents that Joseph Ripka the Grantee within named and Catherine his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Four Thousand Dollars lawful money to them in hand paid by Henry K B Ogle of the County of Philadelphia Gentleman at the time of the Execution hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents Do grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said Henry K B Ogle his heirs and assigns All and singular the Messuages or Tenements Lots of Ground Lands Factories Hereditaments and Promises in the within Indenture particularly described and granted and every part and parcel thereof (Being the same premises which Martha Ann Ogle, Henry K B Ogle and wife, John T Ogle and wife, James F Ogle and Jacob F Sinquet and Phoebe Ann his wife by the within Indenture bearing even date herewith but duly executed and acknowledged prior to the execution hereof and intended forthwith to be recorded granted and conveyed unto the said Joseph Ripka in fee Subject as within mentioned) Together with all and singular the buildings improvements ways woods roads lanes streets alley passages waters water Courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever unto the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the Estate right title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of them the said Joseph Ripka and Catharine his wife as well as at Law as in Equity of in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof To have and to hold all and singular the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Henry K B Ogle his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said Henry K B Ogle his heirs and assigns forever Under and Subject nevertheless to the Yearly Ground Rents within mentioned and any arrearages thereof and Subject also to the other incumbrances now existing against the said premises with all Interest accrued and to accrue thereon as within mentioned And the said Joseph Ripka and his heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances (Subject as aforesaid) against him the said Joseph Ripka and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the samd or any part thereof by from or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by the these presents. In Witness whereof the said Joseph Ripka and Catherine his wife have interchangeably set their respective hands and seals hereunto this Thirty First Day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Forty five. Joseph Ripka Catharine Ripka Sealed and Delivered in the presence of us: Jno Rosencrantz Jno Alexander Received the Day of the Date of the above written Deed Poll of the above named Henry K B Ogle the sum of Four Thousand Dollars being the full consideration money above mentioned Joseph Ripka Witnessess at Signing Jno Rosencrantz Jno Alexander On the Thirty First Day of July AD 1845 Before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for the County of Philadelphia came the above named Joseph Ripka and Catharine his wife and in due form of Law acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same as such to be recorded The said Catharine being full age and by me examined thereon Separate and apart from her said husband and the full contents Thereof being by me first made known to her did declare and say that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign seal and as her act and deed deliver the said Indenture without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
