Whereas Jacob Schreiner the grantee within named is by virtue of the within written Deed Poll entitled to the free & uninterrupted Use, Liberty and Privilege of a certain four feet wide alley or passage within mentioned extending along & upon the said Anna Maria Clampfer’s ground from the south side of Gilberts Alley unto the said Jacob Schreiner’s lot, at the distance of one hundred feet from the East side of second street, And whereas the said Anna Maria Clampfer hath lately enlarged the said alley to the width of nine feet by adding five feet from her the said Anna Maria Clampfer’s adjoining lot to the said four feet wide alley for the accommodation of her the said Anna Maria Clampfer’s other lots. And the said Jacob Schreiner being desirous of having the privilege of the said alley so enlarged to the width of nine feet as aforesaid. Therefore now know ye, that The said Anna Maria Clampfer for & in consideration of the sum of seventy five pounds money of Pennsylvania (in Gold and Silver coin) to her in hand paid by the said Jacob Schreiner at or immediately before the sealing & delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereof is hereby acknowledged hath & by these presents doth grant bargain sell release & confirm unto the said Jacob Schreiner & to his heirs & assigns, the free & uninterrupted use liberty & privilege of the said alley so enlarged to the width of nine feet as aforesaid and extending from the south side of Gilbert Alley aforesaid to the said Jacob Schreiner’s lot & of ingress, egress & regress into along & throughout the same at all times hereafter forever with or without Horses Cattle Carts or Carriages without any hindrance, interruption or molestation of her the said Anna Maria Clampfer her heirs or assigns or any other person under her or them or any or either of them. In witness whereof the said Anna Maria Clampfer hath hereunto set their hands & seals this eleventh day of December Anna Domini 1790 her Anna Maria X Clampfer mark Sealed & Delivered in the presents of us Adan Clampfer, Isaac Wampole Received from Mr. Jacob Schreiner two hundred dollars Specie being in full the consideration money above mentioned..
