The mortgage was signed on January 6, 1786 and recorded on February 22, 1786. George Strine agreed to repay Christian Lefaver this by January 1, 1789 with interest. The mortgage indicates this to be the same lot of ground was devised by the will of John Zeller, late of Philadelphia County, deceased, unto Harman Bush, Christian Lefaver and George Strine after the death of Anna Mary Zellers, wife of the deceased. The mortgage was discharged on June 4, 1791 after Christian Lefaver replaced it with a mortgage on another parcel of land owned by George Strine in the County of York.
