This Indenture made the eighteenth day of May Anno Dom; One Thousand and Seven Hundred and Thirty Six. Between Mary Davies Relix of the within named Sampson Davies deceased and her two sons John Davies and Thomas Davies of the one part and Henry Bell of the Township of Plymouth in the County of Philadelphia and Province of Pensilvania, planter of the other part witnesseth that they the said Mary Davies together with John and Thomas her sons for and in consideration of one hundred and sixty pounds lawfull money of Pensylvania to then in hand paid or secured to be paid by ye sd Henry Bell at or before ye ensealing & delivery here of the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargain sell and assign unto the said Henry Bell all their right title estate inheritance claim property possession and demand whatsoever both in law and equity of in and to all the within mentioned tenements lands hereditaments & premisses therein described with every of the appurtenances granted to the said Sampson Davies his heirs & assigns under the limitations covenants & reservations particularly within set forth and described to have and to hold all the within mentioned tenements land and premisses with all & every of their appurtenances to the said Henry Bell his heirs & assigns to the only use of the said Henry Bell his heirs and assigns for ever under the several yearly rent considerations covenants limitations & reservations within mentioned and the said Mary Davies together with her sons for themselves their heirs executors & administrators do covenant promise & grant to and with the sd Henry Bell his heirs and assigns by these presents in manner and form following. That is to say that the within mentioned tenements lands hereditaments & premisses with every of the appurtenances are freely and clearly acquitted and discharged of all arrearages of rents that are or have been due for the same at or before the five and twentieth Day of March last before the date of these presents quitrents only excepted to ye said Henry Bell and that the said Henry Bell his heirs & assigns shall and may from time to time & at all times forever hereafter have hold use ocupy possess and enjoy all and singular the tenements lands and premisses with mentioned with every of ye appurtenances and the fruits increase and proffitts thereof to take to his and their proper use without any account thereof to be made or rendered to the said Mary Davies or John or Thomas her sons their or either of their heirs or assigns in witness whereof ye said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.
