All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Betty-Lu Burton bigburma@juno.com December 13, 2010, 8:52 pm Written: August 22, 1808 Recorded: October 7, 1809 Dillaplain Ridgway and Wife to Daniel Knight Philadelphia County, PA Land Deeds Deed Book I C Vol 2 page 380-381 Dated 22 Aug 1808; Recorded 7 October 1809 FHL# 21960 Dillaplain Ridgway and Wife Know all men by these presents that Dillaplain to Ridgway one of the Grantees within named and Daniel Knight Dorothea his wife for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred Dollars lawful Money of the United States to them paid by Daniel Knight the other grantee within also named at the time of the execution hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold released and confirmed and by these presents Do grant bargain and sell release and confirm unto the said Daniel Knight his Heirs and Assigns All his the said Dillaplain Ridgways one full equal and undivided Moiety or half part of and in all and singular All that certain three Story Brick Messuage or Tenement and the Lot or piece of ground on which the same is erected in and by the within Indenture to them the said Dillaplain Ridgway and Daniel Knight granted in equal Moieties in fee as Tenants in Common situate bounded and being as within described containing in breadth on Spruce Street eighteen feet and in length or depth one hundred and one feet together with all and singular the Buildings Improvements Ways Waters Water Corises Right Liberties Priviledges Hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever unto the said hereby granted Premises belonging and the Reversions Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and also all the estate right title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Dillaplain Ridgway and Dorothea his wife in Law or Equity of into and out of the same To have and to hold the said one full equal and undivided Moiety or half part of and in all that the aforesaid three story Brick Messuage of Tenement and the said lot or piece of ground and Premises hereby granted with the appurtenances unto the said Daniel Knight his Heirs and assigns to and for his and their own proper Use and Behoof forever And the said Dillaplain Ridgway and his heirs all and singular the Premises hereby granted with the Appurtenances to the said Daniel Knight his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Diallaplain Ridgway and his Heirs and Against all and every other person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever Defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Dillaplain Ridgway and Dorothea his wife have hereunto set their Hands and Seals this twenty second Day of August Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and eight Sealed and Delivered in the presence of us Jacob Baker Dillaplain Ridgway {his seal} Eliza H Read Dorothea Ridgway {her seal} Received the Day of the Date of the above written Deed Poll of the above named Daniel Knight the sum of eight hundred Dollars Lawful Money of the United States being the full consideration Money above mentioned.
