Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the love and affection which we bear to our daughter the said Susannah Lees and for the better maintenance and livelyhood of her the said Susannah have given granted alienated enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth give grant and confirm unto the said Susannah her heirs and assigns forever a certain lot or piece of ground late the property of Luke Morris situate lying and being on South Street in the District of Southwark and County of Philadelphia containing in breadth on South Street fifteen feet and in length or depth thirty eight feet more or less bounded on the east by ground the property of said Winnemore on the south by ground late of Alexander Alexander deceased and on the west by other ground of the said Luke Morris and on the north by South street aforesaid. Together also with all and singular the Ways, Alleys, Buildings, Improvements, Rights, Liberties, Privileges, Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wife appertaining and the reversions and Remainders, Rents, Issues and Profits thereof and all the Estate Rights, Title, Interest and Property Claim and Demand whatsoever which of us the said Philip Winamore and Barbarra Winamore or either of us in or to the said Lot or Piece of Ground with its Appurtenances to have and to hold the said Lott of Ground and all and singular the Premises hereby granted and Conveyed or mentioned or intended to be granted or Conveyed with their Appurtenances unto the said Susannah Lees her heirs and assigns Susannah Lees and the heirs of her Body lawfully begotten forever And the said Philip Winamore and Barbarra his Wife for their and each of their executors and Administrators Doth Covenant promise and grant to and with the said Susannah Lees her heirs and assigns that they the said Philip Winamore and Barbarra his Wife or either of them their heirs or assigns by these presents that she the said Susannah Lees her heirs and assigns shall and lawfully may from henceforth forever hereafter peaceably and Quietly hold use occupy possess and enjoy the said Messuage or Tenement Lands and Premises above mentioned to be granted with every of their Appurtenances free clear and discharged or well and sufficiently saved and kept harmless of and from all former or other Grants Bargains Sales Gifts Jointers Feoffments Laces Dowers Estates Entails Rent Charges Arrearages of Rent Statutes Judgments Recognizances Executions and of and from all other Titles Troubles Charges and Incumbrances Whatsoever had made committed done or Suffered, or to be made had or done by us the said Philip Winamore or Barbarra my Wife our Heirs Executors or Administrators or any of them or any other Person or Persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him them or any or either of them In Witness whereof we have hereunto Set our hands and affixed our Seals the day and Year first above. (Signed) Philip Winnemore Barbara Winemore (her mark) Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of us Henry Horn Philip Winemore Jun’r The Twenty eighth day of June 1790 Before me Joseph Wharton Equr. one of the Justices of the Court of Common Pleas for the City and County of Philadelphia Came the above named Barbara Winamore, Wife of the above named Philip Winamore who is now dead and acknowledged that She executed the above Indenture as Her Voluntary Act and Deed without any Coercion or Compulsion and desired the Same may be Recorded as Such And also came and appeared Philip Winemore Junior one of the Sons of the above named Philip Winemore and also a Subscribing Witness to the Execution of the above Indenture and on his solemn Oath according to Law did declare and say that he was present and did see the above named Philip Winemore the Grantor and Barbara his Wife Sign Seal and as their Act and Deed deliver the said Indenture that the Name Philip Winemore Jun’r. thereto subscribed as a Witness thereof is of his own hand Writing and that he did also see Henry Horn subscribe his Name as the other Witness of such Signing Sealing and Delivery Witness my hand and Seal the Day and Year aforesaid.
