Winnemore et ux to Jas Bringhurst This Indenture made the thirty first day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty two between Philip Winnemore of the City of Philadelphia, Yeoman, and Barbara, his wife, of the one part and James Bringhurst of the said City, Merchant of the other part, witnesseth that the said Philip Winnemore and Barbara, his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and fifteen pounds in specie paid by James Bringhurst do convey unto him… A Certain lot or piece of ground situate on the North side of Union Street between Second and Third Streets in the said City of Philadelphia containing in breadth on the said Union Street twenty five feet and extending in depth northward eight six feet. Bounded Northward by ground of Samuel Rhoads Eastward partly by a Lot of John Nixon, partly by ground of Esther Pemberton. In the tenure of Peter Biggs partly by her other ground granted or intended to be granted to James Lees and partly by a lot of Moles Patterson Southward by Union Street aforesaid and westward by other ground of the said Esther Pemberton. (Being the same premises which James Lees and wife by indenture bearing date the eighth day of August An. Dom 1782 conveyed to the said Philip Winnemore in fee under and subject to the yearly ground rent of thirty three Spanish milled silver dollars and one third payable to the heirs and assigns of Esther Pemberton in two equal half yearly payments on the first day of January and on the first day of July in every year forever.
