This Indenture made between Jane Winemore and Barbara Winnemore of the City of Philadelphia, Singlewomen of the one part, and Churchmen’s Missionary Association for Seamen in the Port of Philadelphia of the other part.. Jane Winnemore and Barbara Winemore in consideration of the sum of $8,500 paid by the said The Churchmen’s Missionary Association for Seamen in the Port of Philadelphia of the other part, convey … That certain lot or piece of ground marked in a Plan of the Division of the Estate late of Catharine, the wife of Anthony Duche George Griffiths R situate on the north west corner of Catharine and Swanson Street in the late District of Southwark, now City of Philadelphia containing in breadth on Swanson Street twenty feet and at the west end seventeen feet nine inches and in depth on Catharine Street one hundred and eight feet. Bounded on the north by the lot next hereinafter described on the west by ground now or late of Anthony Duche, on the south by Catharine Street and Northeastwardly by Swanson Street Also all that certain lot or piece of ground situate on the west side of Swanson street at the distance of twenty feet, northward from the north west corner of Catharine and Swanson Street containing in front on said Swanson Street thirty three feet more or less and in length or depth one hundred and seven feet bounded on the north by ground now or late of John Turner, on the east by Swanson Street aforesaid, on the south by the lot of ground above described and on the west by ground late of John Duche, deceased (the lot of ground first above described being the same premises which Robert Owen by indenture dated May 14, 1794 and recorded in Deed Book D No. 39, Page 545 granted and conveyed unto Jacob Winemore in fee. And the lot of ground second above described being the same premises which Jane Duche by indenture dated April 16, 1810, Deed Book GC No. 7, Page 682 conveyed unto Jacob Winemore in fee. Jacob Winemore dec’d’s, seized of the said premises, made his last Will in which he gave the rest, residue and remainder of his real estate (after the decease of his wife or her marrying again) to his five sons and two daughters, namely Philip Winemore, Thomas Winemore, Jacob Winemore, Isaac Winemore and Abraham Winemore, Jane Winemore and Barbara Winemore, or the survivor or survivors of them. The said five sons departed this life before the wife of the Testator, and his said wife, having afterwards died without marrying again, the said Barbara and Jane (grantors herein) became sized in fee of the said premises.
