Clifton This Indenture Made the fourteenth day of June in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty-two Between Henry Winnemore of the District of Southwark in the County of Philadelphia, Mariner and Susanna, his wife of the one part and Robert D. Clifton of the same place , Taylor, of the other part..Witnesseth that the said Henry Winnemore and Susannah, his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred Dollars lawful money to them paid by the said Robert D. Clifton at the time of the Execution hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm unto the said Robert D. Clifton his heirs and assigns All that Frame Messuage and Lot or piece of ground Situate on the North side of Johns Street at the distance of Ninety feet East and from the East side of Second Street combined in Southward aforesaid Containing in front or breadth on the said Johns Street fifteen feet and extending in length or depth Northward Sixty feet Bounded on the South by the said Johns Street on the East partly by Ground of Thomas Higgins and partly by the small piece of ground hereinafter described on the North by Ground of the said Thomas Higgins and on the West by an Alley Nine feet six inches wide leading unto Johns Street Together with the common use and privilege of the said Alley with and without Horses Cattle Carts and Carriages at all times forever And also a certain strip or piece of Ground Situate at the distance of fifty-four inches Northward from the North side of Johns Street and One Hundred and five feet Eastward from the West side of Second Street in Southwark aforesaid Containing in Breadth North and South five feet six inches and in length East and West parallel with Johns Street thirteen feet including at the Southeasterly corner thereof an apartment of a privy house and part of a privy well Bounded on the West by the first above described lot and on the South East and West by ground of Thomas Higgins (The Messuage and Lot first above described is the same which Philip Winemore and Jane his wife, Elizabeth Cope and John Winnemore and Harriet his wife by Indenture dated the first day of April Anno Domini One Thousand Eight hundred and twenty-six granted and conveyed unto the said Henry Winnemore in fee and the strip or piece of Ground last above described is the same with Thomas Higgins and Ann his wife by Deed Poll endorsed on the said Recited Indenture dated the thirty-first day of May Anno Domini One thousand Eight hundred and twenty-eight granted and conveyed unto the said Henry Winnemore in fee as in and by the said recited Indenture and Deed Poll intended to be recorded will more fully and at large appear and Together with all and singular other the Buildings Improvements Ways Streets Alleys Passages Waters Water courses Rights Liberties Privileges Hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the Reversions Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and all the Estate Right Title Interest Property claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Henry Winnemore and Susanna his wife as welt Law or in Equity of unto and out of the same To Have and to Hold all and singular the hereditaments and and Premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Robert D. Clifton his heirs and assigns To and for the only proper use and Behoof of the said Robert D. Clifton his heirs and assigns forever and the said Henry Winnemore and his heirs all and singular the hereditaments and Premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Robert D. Clifton his heirs and assigns against him the said Henry Winnemore and his heirs and against all and every Person and Persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him them or any of them Shall and will Warrant and forever Defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Parties have interchangeably set their their hands and seals hereunto Dated the day and year first Above Written. Sinnickson Received the day of the date of the above Written Indenture of the above named Robert D. Clifton the Sum of Eight hundred Dollars being the full Consideration Money above mentioned. Sinnickson The Fourteenth Day of June A.D. 1832 Before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Philadelphia came the above named Henry Winnemore and Susanna his wife and acknowledged the above Written Indenture to be their Act and deed and desired the same may be Recorded as such The said Susanna being of full age and by me examined a part from her husband declared She executed the said Indenture voluntarily and of her own free will and accord without any compulsion or coercion of her said husband and the full contents thereof being by me first made known to her Witness my hand and seal the day and year aforesaid.
