The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net *********************************************************************** Abstracted from City Archives, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Deed Book D45 page 289 August 6, 1794 Jacob Winnemore and Wife to Peter Gill This Indenture made between Jacob Winnemore of the district of Southwark in the county of Philadelphia, Grocer, and Jane, his wife, of the one part and Peter Gill of the same place, baker, of the other part Witnesseth that the said Jacob Winnemoor and Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty pounds specie paid by said Peter Gill convey to him… A certain two story brick messuage or tenement and Lot or piece of ground thereunto belonging situate in the district of Southwark aforesaid and on the west side of Third Street from Delaware continued southward beyond the said city containing in breadth on the said street eighteen feet and extending that breadth westward the distance thirty eight feet and then widens to the breadth of nineteen feet and continues that breadth further westward the distance of forty two feet bounded on the north by a lot now or late of William Walters on the east by Third Street aforesaid and on the South and West by Silas Engles messuage and lot (being the same premises which James Bringhurst of the City of Philadelphia, Gentleman, and Ruth, his wife, by indenture dated the twelfth day of the fifth month Anno Domini 1792 granted unto the said Jacob Winnemore in fee subject to the payment a yearly rent charge of sixteen Spanish milled silver dollars or so much lawful money of Pennsylvania as well be sufficient from time to time to purchase or procure sixteen such dollars as should thereafter become due and payable unto Samuel Rhoads, his heirs and assigns on the first day of Aprile in every year forever.
