Robinson, aged 49 years, a resident of the City of Philada, County of Penna, State of Penna., who, being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is the identical Adlebert B. Robinson who was enrolled on the 10 day of Oct., 1861, in Co. "A" 57th Pa Vols. in the war of the rebellion, and served at least ninety days, and was honroably discharged at Petersburg, VA, on the 10 day of Nov, 1864. That he is unable to earn a support by reason of Heart Disease & Bronchitis. That said disabilities are not due to his visious habits, and are to the best of his knowledge and belief permanent. That he has never applied for pension. That he makes this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the pension roll of the United States under the provisions of the Act of June 27, 1890. He hereby appoints W. V. Sickel, of Philadelphia, PA. his true and lawful attorney to prosecute his claim, and he directs that the sum of ten dollares be paid him for his services. Robinson, the climant, sign his name to the foregoing declaration; that they have every reason to believe from the appearance of said claimant and their acquaintance with him for 5 years and 15 years, respectively, that he is the identical person he represents himself to be; and that they have no interest in the prosecution of this claim. On this 13 day of May A.D., one thousand nine hundred and twelve, personally appeared before me a Notary Public within and for the County and State aforesaid, Adelbert B. Robinson who, being duly swaorn according to law, declares that he is 71 years of age, and a resident of Philadelphia county of Philadelphia, State of Penna; and that he is the identical person who was enroled at Bridgewater, Pa under the name of Adelbert B. Robinson, on the 10 day of october, 1861, as a Private, in Co. A, 57 Regt. Penna Vet. Vols. in the service of the United States, in the Civil war, and was honorably discharged at Before Petersburg, VA, on the 10 day of November, 1864. That he was not employed in the military or naval service of the United States otherwise than as stated above. That his personal description at enlistment was as follows. Height, 5 feet 8 1/2 inches; complexion, sandy; color o eyes, blue; color of hair, sandy; that his occupation was Farmer; that he was born November 8, 1840, at Susquehanna Co., Penna. that his several places of residence since leaving the service have been as follows: Philadelphia, Pa That he is a pensioner. That he has heretofore applied for pension Certificate No. 953088.
