      “On the 9th inst. Josephine, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth AKERS, aged 
4 years and 2 months.
      “The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to 
attend the funeral, from the residence of her parents, No. 911 Filbert street on 
Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, without further notice.”

      “On the 9th instant, of small pox, Franklin Pearce, son of Geo. W. and 
Lydia MONTONEY, aged 6 years and 14 days.
      “The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to 
attend the funeral, from the residence of his parents, 1245 South Front street, 
this (Friday) afternoon at _ o’clock.”

      “On the 8th instant, Rachel B. CARPENTER, wife of Engle Hart CARPENTER, in 
the 24th year of her age.  [Germantown Telegraph please copy]
      “The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, 
from her father’s residence, near Hartville, Bucks county-to meet at the house 
on Monday morning, at 8 o’clock, and proceed to the Pennypack Church.”

      “On the 8th inst., Mrs Hannah, consort of the late Henry BURKHARDT, in the 
75th year of her age.
      “Funeral to take place on Saturday afternoon, at 2 o’clock from the 
residence of her son, G. J. Burkhardt, No. 1340 Green street.  Her friends and 
those of the family are respectfully invited to attend.”

      “On the 9th inst., John, son of William and Manry FINLEY, aged 3 years.
      “The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to 
attend the funeral, on to-morrow (Saturday,) afternoon at 1 o’clock, from the 
residence of her [sic] parents, 498 Maria street, above Coates, to proceed to 
Cathedral Cemetery.”

      “On the 8th inst., M_s. Ann LYLE, aged 53 years and one month.
      “The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to 
attend the funeral from her residence 1551 North Eleventh street, below Oxford, 
on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock.”

      “On the 8th inst., William Henry, only son of Charles and Eliza Ann 
FERNBERG, aged 3 years and 7 weeks.
      “The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to 
attend the funeral, from the residence of his parents, 1616 Green street, on 
Saturday the 11th inst., at 10 o’clock, A.M.”

      “On the 8th inst., Lizzie, youngest daughter of George and Ella SPENCER, 
aged 2 years and 2 months.
      “Funeral on Saturday, the 11th inst., at 2 o’clock, P.M., from the 
residence of her parents, No. 6_3 North Twelfth street.”

      “Suddenly, on the morning of the 7th inst., Elhanan Winchester KEYSER, in
