SCHAEFLE,-On the 5th inst., JOHN F. the husband of Regina Schaefle, aged 60 
years. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to 
attend the funeral, on Wednesday afternoon, at 3 o'clock, from his late 
residence, 1016 Humboldt street, Rising Sun. Interment at Greenmount Cemetery.
 
SHARPLESS, -At his late residence, in Middletown township, Delaware county, 
Sixth-day. Tenth, 2d, JOEL SHARPLESS, in his 87th year. Funeral on Third-day, 
tenth, 6th. Meet at house at 1 o'clock. Carriages will meet trains at Darlington 
Station, leaving Philadelphia at 11.13 and West Chester at 11.35.*
 
NOTE: *I do not understand the reading of Sharpless obit. But that is the way it 
was written.
 
SHAUGHNESSY.-On October 5, 1896, Margaret, widow of the late John Shaughnessy. 
The relatives and friends, also the B. B. M. Sodality, the Altar Society and 
League of the Sacred Heart of the Annunciation Church, are invited to attend the 
funeral, on Thursday morning, from her late residence, 1015 Watkins street. 
Solemn mass of requiem at the Annunciation Church, at 10 o'clock, precisely. 
Interment at New Cathedral Cemetery.
 
THACKARA.- On October 6, 1896, MARY A., wife of the late Benjamin Thackara. The 
relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral on Friday 
morning, at 10 o'clock, from her late residence, 1830 Race street. Interment 
private.*
 
NOTE* Benjamin died on Sept. 15, 1896. Any researching descendants? This is 
mine.
 
TREFTS.-On the 6th inst., ANNIE, wife of Frederick Trefts, and daughter of the 
late John and Ann Mulligan. Due notice of the funeral will be given.
 
TROWBRIDGE.-On the 5th inst., JOHN E. TROWBRIDGE. The relatives and friends of 
the family, also Francesville council, No. 837, Jr., O. U. A. M., and the 
employes of Fite & Arbelo Company, are respectfully invited to attend the 
funeral, on Thursday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, from his late residence, 2936 
French street. Interment private, at Hillside Cemetery. Williamsport papers 
please copy.
 
WALTON.-On October 4, 1896, AMANDA WALTON, daughter of Lucy and the late Joseph 
Ford, aged 33 years. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully 
invited to attend the funeral, on Wednesday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, from the 
residence of her brother--in-law, Edward Steck, 1937 Brunner street, Nictown. 
Interment at Northwood Cemetery.
 
WARNER.-On the 5th inst., MABEL LOUIS WARNER, infant daughter of James and Emily 
Warner, aged 1 year and 15 days. The relatives and friends are respectfully 
invited to attend the funeral, on Thursday, at 2 o'clock, from 436 North Sixty-
second street. Interment at Fernwood Cemetery.
 
WEAVER.-Suddenly, October 3, 1896, B. FRANK, Jr., son of B. Frank and Sallie L. 
Weaver, aged 16 years, 1 month, 26 days. The relatives and friends of the 
family, also members of Christ United Evangelical Church, corner of Twelfth and 
Oxford streets: employes of Baldwin Locomotive Works, are  (cut off)
