DECHERT.--Suddenly, on the 29th inst, J W DECHERT.
Due notice of funeral will be given.

DESGRANGES.--On the 29th inst, at his residence, 4705 Chew street, Germantown, 
LEVI P DESGRANGES.
Funeral Wednesday, Nov 1st, at 10 AM.  Omit flowers.  Interment private.

DURNETT.--On the 28th inst, EMILY A, wife of the late Rev Wm R Durnett, DD.
The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral 
services, this Tuesday, 31st inst, at 2 1/2 o'clock precisely, at her late 
residence, No 662 North Eleventh street.  Interment private.

FREEMAN.--EMMA S, wife of Wesley B Freeman, Sunday, October 29th, 1893, at her 
home in West Chester, PA.

GRIFFITH.--On 10th Month, 27th, 1893, MARY NEWBOLD GRIFFITH, wife of Richard S 
Griffith, at their residence, in West Chester, PA, in the 74th year of her age.
Funeral from Friends' Meeting House, on Chestnut street, this Third-day, the 
31st inst, at 2 o'clock.  Interment at Friends' Oakland Burying Ground.

HALLOWELL.--On the 29th inst, WILLIAM HALLOWELL, Sr, aged 64 years.
The relatives and friends of the family, also Olney Division, No 173, S of T, 
are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services, Wednesday afternoon, at 
2 o'clock, from his late residence, Tabor street, Olney.  Interment at St 
James's ME Ground.                         [Cummings]

HOLT.--Of diphtheria, on October 30, 1893, WALTER B, son of Benjamin and 
Elizabeth Holt, in the 12th year of his age.
Funeral private, from his parents' residence, 413 Pearl street, Camden, NJ, this 
(Tuesday) afternoon, at 4 o'clock.

JENKINS.--On the 29th inst, ALFRED A JENKINS, in the 54th year of his age.
Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the 
funeral, from his late residence, 2919 Master street, Cramer Hill, on Thursday, 
October 2d, at 1 o'clock.  Interment private.

JOHNSON.--	On Oct 30, 1893, JOSEPH W JOHNSON, aged 40 years.

JONES.--On the 28th inst, MARY E JONES, in the 53d year of her age.
The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral 
services at the chapel of Ivy Hill Cemetery, this (Tuesday) afternoon, at 3 
o'clock.  Trains leave depot, Twelfth and Market streets, for Mount Pleasant 
Station at 2.27 PM.

KENNEDY.--On the 28th instant, SALLIE J, wife of Charles L Kennedy and youngest 
daughter of Susan C and the late Benjamin R Caskey, aged 26 years.
HALLOWELL.--On the 29th inst, WILLIAM HALLOWELL, Sr, aged 64 years.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the 
funeral, this (Tuesday) afternoon, at one (1) o'clock, from her mother's 
residence, York road, above CIty Line.  To proceed to Cedar Hill Cemetery.  
Interment private.

KENWORTHY.--On the 26th inst, at El Paso, Texas, JOHN, son of Ben and Sallie 
Kenworthy, of Roxborough, Philada.
Due notice of the funeral.

KNOX.--On the 30th inst, LOUISA G KNOX, wife of William W Knox and daughter of 
William G and Caroline Gerhard, in her 21st year.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the 
funeral, on Thursday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, from her late residence, 229 
Williamson street.  Interment at Bethel Vault.
