Interment at Mount Vernon Cemetery. BENNER.-October 16, BEATRICE M., daughter of Clara E. and late Marshall T. Benner, aged 3 months. Relatives and friends invited to services, Friday, 2 p. m., mother's residence, 2536 Diamond st. Interment private. Captain WILLIAM B. ROSE, a veteran of the Civil War, died of apoplexy yesterday in the United States Mint, where he had been a doortender 15 years. Captain Rose, who was born in this city in 1835, served throughout the Civil War in the Philadelphia Brigade and was promoted for bravery. He was seriously wounded in the battle of Antietam. He served a term in the State Legislature in 1889. Captain Rose lived at 1912 Nicholas street. He leaves a widow. Dr. GEORGE E. RAYNER, a veterinary surgeon, aged 71 years, a veteran of the Civil War, died on Monday at his home, 141 Fountain street, Manayunk. He was born in England and came to this county when a boy. He served throughout the Civil War in the 119th Regiment. Pennsylvania Volunteers. Doctor Rayner was on of the oldest members of General G. K. Warren Post, No. 15, G. A. R.
