BORZELL.-On the 17th inst., GEO. A. BORZELL, in the 42d year of his age.
Eighteen years ago, when he returned home from Mexico,
And had helped to conquer the foe,
His health and spirits then were low;
But God in his Providence ordered it so,
To permit him to remain a little longer here below,
To see an over throw of another mightier foe:
And the country has been saved-may this noble warrior
Rest sweetly in the grave,
Till Gabriel's Trump shall sound;
Then may they all receive a crown,
and lay the warrior a weapon down."
The relatives and friends of the deceased; the Tauionia Lodge,
Np. 21, I. O. of O. F.; the Adolph Trutzerhier Lodge, No. 39, A. D. O. H.,
and the Franklin Beneficial Society, are respectfully invited to attend the
funeral, from his late residence, No. 1722 Germantown avenue, on Sunday,
the 21st inst., at 2 1/2 o';clock, P. M., to proceed to Cohocksink Vault.
