Philadelphia Inquirer, August 16th, 1865
BRANSON- On the 12th instant, after a long and severe illness, Mr. JOHN 
BRANSON, aged 61 years.
The relatives and friends and the Hand-in-Hand Fire Company are respectfully 
invited to attend the funeral from his late residence, No. 913 Poplar Street, 
this day, at 1 o’clock. To proceed to Mechanics Cemetery.
