Philadelphia Public Ledger - July 27, 1885
Burgert - Suddenly, on the 26th instant, Charles Burgert, born in Grunern, 
Staufen county, Baden, Germany, in the 53d year of his age.
Relatives and friends, also members of the St.Alphonsus Society 
and "Philadelphia Maener Unterstuetzungs Verein" are respectfully invited to 
attend the funeral, on Wednesday, at 8 A.M., Requiem  9 A.M., at St.Peters'. 
To proceed to New Cathedral Cemetery. From his late residence 708 North 
Thirteenth street.
