   CAREY.-On the 8th instant, Mr. JOHN CAREY, son of the late 
Edward and Catharine Carey, aged 49 years.
                Farewell wife, sister, children dear,
                Though absent now yet sleeping here,
                Christ has claimed me for his own,
                And in his mercy called me home.
    The relatives and friends of the family, United States 
Council, No. 7, O. U. A. M., also the employees of the Pascal 
Iron Works, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, 
from his late residence, No. 1634 S. Second street, below 
Tasker, on Thursday afternoon, at 4 o’clock. To proceed to 
Union Cemetery
