The Philadelphia Record- Sept. 6, 1885
Carey - on September 3, 1885 Mary E. Carey.  wife of James B. Carey, and 
daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Grogan, aged 25 years.
Funeral - Monday morning, at 8 1/2 o'clock, from the residence of her parents, 
No. 40 Almond street. Solemn requiem mass at St.Philip's Church. To proceed to 
New Cathedral Cemetery.
