Philadelphia Public Ledger - July 27, 1885
Carpenter. - On the 26th instant, Catharine, relict of the late Aaron 
Carpenter, aged 76.
Funeral, on Wednesday, 29th inst. at 10 o'clock, from the residence of her 
nephew, John A. Smith, 4469 Wood street, Manayunk, to proceed to West Laurel 
Hill.
