He was the father of Patrick Cronin, now of Philadelphia, but formerly of West Chester, and had only been in this country about a year. He was a native of Cork, Ireland. Daily Local News, September 23, 1887 CRONIN- In West Chester, on September 21, 1887, Michael Cronin, aged 76 years, late of County Cork, Ireland. Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) morning, to leave the house at 9 o’clock. Mass at St. Agnes’ Church. Interment at the Catholic Cemetery, Oakland.
