He was 69 and formerly lived at Bryn Rhaffan, Penn Valley. Dr. Dillon was graduated from Princeton University in 1911 and from Harvard Medical School in 1916. He practiced in Philadelphia from 1923 until he retired in 1955. He had served as adjunct physician at Pennsylvania Hospital; associate professor of dieases of metabolism at the Graduate School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and assistant medical director of the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. In Medical Corps He served as captain in the Royal British Army Medical Corps in 1916 and the U. S. Army Medical Corps, 1918 and 1919. Dr. Dillon was a fellow in the American College of Physicians and the Philadelphia College of Physicians. He was a member of the American Medical Association and the Philadelphia County Medical Society. He was president of the American Diabetes Association from 1947 to 1948. Presbyterian Elder He was also a member of the Rittenhouse Astronomical Society and had been an elder for many years of the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. His first wife, the former Eugenia Vansant, who he married in 1923, died in 1954. Surviving are his wife, the former Katharine Stevens Marsden; four sons, Dr. Edward V, John S, Dr. Richard S. and C. W. Larue; a daughter, Mrs. Eugenia D. Pearson, and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 P. M. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 21st and Walnut sts. Burial will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
