On the 22d of January last Harry Glenn, employed as a brakeman in the yard, was admitted to the hospital suffering from an attack of muscular rheumatism. He suffered intensely at times, but for the last two weeks appeared to be slowly improving. Yesterday about noon, however, the patient was stricken with paralysis and from that hour he continued to sink rapidly until death came to his relief at a few minutes after 12 o'clock this morning. The deceased came to this city some months ago from Philadelphia, securing employment in the yard. His mother arrived in the city several days since and was at his bedside when he died. It is not definitely known when the funeral will take place, but it is probable the body will be taken to Philadelphia for interment.
