               Decease of a Methodist Divine.
  Rev. S. G. Hare, a member of the Philadelphia M. E. Conference, died
at an early hour yesterday, at the residence of Ruel Speakman, Esq., in
this city. He had been unwell for about a week, but attended church on
Sunday night. Deceased entered the conference in 1843, and at the time
of his death was in the second year of the pastorate of Safe Harbor Church,
in Lancaster county. He was an able and an estimable man, and leaves a
wife and five children. This is the second death that has occurred among the
members of the conference during the present session.
