Public Ledger
   HEMPHILL.-On the 29th ult., of small pox, MARY, wife of Oliver Hemphill, and
daughter of John and Elizabeth Speel, aged 32 years: also on the 24th ult., Oliver,
aged 6 months, and on the 28th ult., ELLA, aged 3 years and 10 months, children
of Oliver and Mary Hemphill.
    Farewell, my dear husband,
     My Lord bide me come;
   Farewell, my dear parents,
     I am now going home.
   Farewell, my father and mother,
     Dry your tears of love;
   Farewell, my sisters and brothers,
     Till we meet in heaven above.
   You will not forget me husband,
     When I am sleeping beneath the sod,
  But plant the laurel over me;
     As I loved you next to God.
   Interment at Mount Moriah this (Friday) morning, March 1st, at 11 o'clock.
