Hess - On September 5, 1885, Joseph Hess, in the 52 year of his age.
Funeral - on Tuesday, September 8, at 2 o'clock, from his brother-in-law's 
residence. Mr. Thomas Lester, Queen street, Falls of Schuylkill. to proceed to 
Laurel Hill Cemetery.
