Pennsylvania Evening Post, 16 Jul 1776
PHILADELPHIA, July 16.
  Last Wednesday morning Richard Peters, D.D died, in the seventy-second year 
of his age, and the next morning his remains were interred in Christ church.  
He was Rector of Christ's and St. Peter's churches in this city, a Member of 
the Gov. Council, and formerly Provincial Secretary.
