At Belmont, the seat of Judge Peters, on Saturday last, Mrs. SARAH PETERS.-A woman whom those who knew her best loved the most-whose heart was the repository of all the virtues whose person once united all the graces, and even at the age of fity-two, retained an unusual share of loveliness-whose cheerfulness of disposition, elegance of manners, benevolence of mind, and purity of friendship, endeared her to every society in which she moved-but who, in the nearer relations of wife and mother and sister, shone with superiour excellence-creating and concentering in her domestick circle all the felicity that perhaps human nature can obtain, and leaving to the fond affections of her family no other wish than that of perpetuity. Severe indeed was the stroke, which, after three days' illness, left them to mourn-left others to imitate-left the afflicted to apply elsewhere for comfort- the poor elsewhere for relief, and left us all to reflect, with grief and admiraties, how little but the translation of the body was perhaps wanting to the formation of the angel.
